‘Toby Keith: American Icon’ Benefit Concert To Feature Performances From Eric Church, Carrie Underwood, Ashley McBryde & More

A star-studded show for a great cause. This morning, the Toby Keith estate announced a one night only benefit concert called Toby Keith: American Icon to be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on July 29th. Artists including Eric Church , Carrie Underwood , Ashley McBryde , Parker McCollum, Jelly Roll, Darius Rucker, The War and Treaty, Lainey Wilson and more will perform both covers and original songs. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit both The Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. The Toby Keith Foundation was started in 2006, and a huge portion of the foundation is the housing he offers for families with children receiving treatment in OKC. The OK Korral (similar to a Ronald McDonald house) provides places for families to stay without putting financial stress on them. Sadly, the country legend passed away in February at the age of 62 after a lengthy battle with stomach cancer, but his foundation continues to do good for his home state of Oklahoma and the communities there.
