Alan Jackson will be walking across Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium stage this fall to receive his Kris Kristofferson Lifetime Achievement Award presented by City National Bank. Buddy Cannon will also receive the President’s Keystone Award at the event, which is the 7th annual Nashville Songwriter Awards ceremony.

Alan’s honor is deemed the most prestigious of the night, joining his enviable list of recognitions and achievements such as stars on both the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Music City Walk of Fame, his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2017, and top charting music over the years.

Fans took to the comments to celebrate this well-deserved recognition, commending his lasting creativity and diligence over the years. “Love your music so many years and still,” a follower wrote with a heart emoji. “Congratulations Mr. Jackson! Fan from the beginning. Thank you for doing what you do,” another gushed.

    More praise for Alan

NSAI Chief Operating Officer Jennifer Turnbrow considers Alan a “fantastic choice” for the award, highlighting the singer’s body of work and self-written songs that have become classics. Turnbrow assured that some of Alan’s works would be given the spotlight at the event to celebrate his thriving country music career; however, she admitted it was a challenging task to select a project from his impressive catalog.
