    Car burglaries reported at fire stations in Davidson County

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities are investigating after several cars were recently broken into at fire stations in Davidson County.

    According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), three cars were broken into at Fire Station 6 in the 300 block of Haywood Lane on Sunday, June 30.

    Meanwhile, at least one car was burglarized at Fire Station 8 in the 2000 block of 12 th Avenue South.

    The Nashville Fire Department (NFD) said they are aware of the break-ins and are taking the incidents very seriously.

    “We are cooperating fully with the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) as they investigate these break-ins,” said NFD. “The safety of our personnel, both on incident scenes and at our fire stations, is a top priority for us. We urge anyone with information about these crimes to report it to the MNPD immediately.”

    Fire officials added that they are exploring options that will secure parking at fire stations and protect personnel’s property. It remains unclear if anything was stolen from the vehicles.
