    2 injured by celebratory gunfire in downtown Nashville

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two people were hit by bullets that fell out of the sky after celebratory gunfire in downtown Nashville Thursday night.

    The victims were injured on 1st and 2nd Avenue South around 9 p.m.

    Metro police reported the victims were hit by bullets that appeared to have been shot into the air and hit them as they fell.

    Both victims have non-life threatening injuries.

    No additional information was immediately released.
