On3 has rolled out its latest rankings update following June official visits and a heap of summer showcases. As the top quarterbacks in the nation prepare for their senior seasons, there’s been some movement at the position in the On300.
Of the top 300 prospects in the latest update, 20 are signal-callers, with 10 checking in inside the top 100 overall. Each of the 20 QBs are already off the board and committed to a Power Four program.
Here are the top 20 quarterbacks in the updated 2025 On300 .
Scouting Summary: “ Bryce Underwood is a top arm talent and plus athlete who is among the more physically-gifted quarterback prospects in recent cycles. Measured at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds with a 10-inch hand the spring after his sophomore season. Owns a big-time arm with the ability to drive the ball with velocity to all levels of the field. Throws a very tight spiral that amplifies the velocity on the tail of his passes. Has shown advanced nuance and skill as a passer early on. Comfortable delivering over the middle of the field from within the pocket. Consistently sticks the ball on receivers against tight coverage. Shows the ability to layer passes with touch and high-level location. Doubles as a run threat with the ability to make defenders miss and pull away at the second level. Has a 27-1 record as as a starter over the first two years of his high school career, leading his school to back-to-back state titles. Completed 65% of his passes for 2,751 yards and 37 touchdowns as a sophomore. Also rushed for 642 yards and eight scores. Very young for the cycle with an August birthday and could technically be a 2026 prospect. Has considerable physical upside and room for continued growth.”
Scouting Summary: “ Matt Zollers has a live arm, plus athleticism and perhaps the best individual playmaking skills we saw on junior film at the position. No 2025 quarterback put more high-level reactive playmaking on film last fall. He plays fast and shows the ability to make a number of high-level throws on film. Zollers passed for 2,917 yards and 37 touchdowns against two interceptions and added 420 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. On3 was the first to tab Zollers as a blue-chip prospect when he held just one Power Five offer last fall.”
Scouting Summary: “ Tavien St. Clair is a pure passer with prototypical physical tools that point to one of the higher developmental upsides among quarterbacks in the 2025 cycle. Measured in at 6-foot-3.5, 210 pounds with a 9.5-inch hand prior to his junior season. Made a considerable jump in development during the off-season between his sophomore and junior years. Has smooth and tight mechanics as a passer. Touts a quick release that is easily replicable. Consistently throws a tight spiral. Mechanical foundation makes him a naturally accurate passer. Off to a strong start to his junior season. Doubles as a solid runner who can pick up yards with his legs when called upon. Functional mobility gives him the ability to extend plays. A three-sport athlete, also playing basketball and baseball. Shows above-the-rim bounce on the hardwood. The degree of improvement from his sophomore to junior years is indicative of an ascending prospect.”
4. Deuce Knight — Notre Dame commit
School: Lucedale (Miss.) George County On300 Ranking: No. 28 NATL.
Scouting Summary: “ Deuce Knight is a big left-handed signal caller who is the top athlete at the position early on in the 2025 cycle. Measured in at around 6-foot-4.5, 195 pounds with a 9.5-inch hand prior to his junior season. Registers as a truly elite athlete at the position via his offseason testing and track and field background finishing his sophomore track and field season as one of the top high jumpers in Mississippi. Transfers that athleticism over to the field on Friday nights. Easily eliminates the angles of pursuit defenders as a scrambler and on designed runs. Tough to bring down in the backfield with his size and reactive quickness. Touts a strong downfield arm. Has made progress as a passer from his sophomore to junior seasons. Still developing, but has the upside to continue improving with continued in-game reps. Transferred to Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, Tenn. for the beginning of his junior year before heading back to Greene County just a few games into the season. Also plays basketball. Considered as a very high upside prospect who is just scratching the surface of his physical potential.”
Elite 11 Overall Breakdown: “ Husan Longstreet had the strongest arm at the Elite 11 Finals. The Texas A&M commit has a rocket launcher attached to his right shoulder. No quarterback on hand consistently threw with more velocity. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder was the On3 MVP on Day 1 and was near the top again on Day 2. He had multiple highlight throws including an absolute rope down the seam that went for a touchdown. Longstreet is a juiced up athlete with considerable twitch to his game. While the arm talent was well established coming in, he showed improved accuracy and ability to layer his throws, as well.”
Elite 11 Overall Breakdown: Keelon Russell was the steady hand at the Elite 11 Finals. The Alabama pledge consistently threw with good velocity and solid accuracy over the course of the three days. He was particularly effective at attacking the intermediate area of the field. We saw this during his 7-on-7 session – which was among the best of the group. Russell picked apart the opposing defense, throwing on target on 19 of 25 passes for five touchdowns. While others made more eye-popping throws, Russell won with his decision-making and ability to take what was open while delivering with good zip and location. Outside of comfortably and timing in working from under center, there weren’t many discernible holes in the Duncanville (Texas) High standout’s game over the course of the week.”
Scouting Summary: “ Julian Lewis is a polished signal caller who turned in the most productive freshman season among 2026 quarterbacks. Has been touted as a high-profile prospect, earning offers as a middle schooler. Measured in at around 6-foot-0.5, 185 pounds with a 9.5-inch hand prior to his sophomore season. Turned in a strong freshman campaign, completing 65.5% of his passes for over 4,100 yards and 48 touchdowns against 12 interceptions while leading his team to a state title appearance. Played well while facing some of the strongest competition among 2026 quarterbacks. Has advanced accuracy and overall polish at this early stage. Very consistent on a throw to throw basis in the camp setting. Shows the ability to locate passes to several areas, including over the middle of the field. Shows nice touch and ability to layer the football. Navigates the pocket well, sliding up to elude pass rushers. Can make defenders miss in space. Has plenty of time to continue growing, but is not overly physically imposing at this stage. Flashes a good arm, but his upside as a pure, top arm talent remains to be seen. Can also continue improving as a creative playmaker as he gets more varsity experience. Figures to be among the top quarterbacks in 2026 as the cycle progresses.”
Scouting Summary: “ George MacIntyre is a measured in at 6-foot-2, 170 pounds during summer campus visits. He’s a tall signal caller with strong projectable tools as a passer and playmaker. Measured in at around 6-foot-5.5, 185 pounds with a 9.25-inch hand prior to his junior season. Has a tall, wiry build that should continue to fill out over time. Touts a tight, compact throwing motion with little moving parts. The release is whippy quick. Flashes good arm strength, with the ability to flick passes out to the boundary and downfield. Mechanical foundation points to a baseline level of accuracy. A bouncy, light-footed mover within the pocket. Avoids pressure in the backfield, stepping up in the pocket. Capable of making high-level second-reaction plays. Has strong improvisational skills. Shows a long stride in the open field. Doubles as a high-level high school basketball player and received high major looks as an underclassman. Plays a tough schedule, but does not have the production or efficiency typical of an elite quarterback prospect. High school team struggled in his junior season. Will need to continue making strides as a player on Friday night and adding weight to his frame, but has the potential to be one of the top quarterbacks to come out of the 2025 cycle.”
9. KaMario Taylor — Mississippi State commit
School: Macon (Miss.) Noxubee County On300 Ranking: No. 94 NATL.
Elite 11 Overall Breakdown: “Several of the Elite 11 Finalists elevated their play once things went live in the 7-on-7 portion on Day 3. Mississippi State commit KaMario Taylor had some ups and downs over the first two days, but really broke through on Thursday, making some outstanding throws in 7-on-7 en route to tossing four touchdowns. Taylor was not always comfortable in the highly structured drill work or pro day setup, but was able to show off his considerable talent when he was able to not think and just play in a more free-flowing setting.”
10. Bryce Baker — North Carolina commit
School: Kernersville (N.C.) East Forsyth On300 Ranking: No. 99 NATL.
Elite 11 Overall Breakdown: “ Bryce Baker turned in one of the better 7-on-7 showings on Day 3 at the Elite 11 Finals, as we charted him on target on 19 of 25 passes for five touchdowns. The North Carolina pledge did a great job of finding open receivers and delivering catchable passes that allowed for maximum yards after catch. Baker also was a Top Performer on Day 1, showing a strong downfield arm. Baker’s combination of physical tools and multiple strong showings this off-season have him looking like an ascending prospect entering his senior season at Kernersville (N.C.) East Forsyth.”
Elite 11 Overall Breakdown: “ Luke Nickel displayed sound mechanics from the ground up at the Elite 11 Finals. The Miami pledge has a traditional high release point and did an excellent job getting the ball up and out throughout the week. He was also very natural and smooth in his drops, showing good coordination and functional mobility when operating from within structure. We rarely saw Nickel out of sorts at the Elite 11 Finals, in large part due to his rock solid mechanical foundation.”
12. Ty Hawkins — SMU commit
School: Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy On300 Ranking: No. 149 NATL.
Scouting Summary: “ Ty Hawkins showed playmaking ability both as a passer and rusher as a junior at San Antonio (Texas) Johnson. He is the most productive rusher among the top 2025 quarterbacks, running for 1,079 yards and 15 scores. He was also effective through the air, completing 67.4 % of his passes for 2,239 yards and 25 touchdowns. The 6-foot-0.5, 200-pounder shows good pocket movement and ability to make plays in the face of pressure. He’ll need to continue improving his lower body mechanics in order to maximize his accuracy.”
Scouting Summary : “ Lloyd Jones is an intriguing prospect at the position, given his instinctual play both as a passer and rusher. The 6-foot-2.5, 210-pounder backed up a strong sophomore campaign with another good season last fall, accounting for 3,390 total yards and 49 touchdowns in 11 games. Jones shows encouraging playmaking ability and overall athleticism. He doubles as a very good high school basketball player for a state title team and should see an uptick in development once he focuses on football exclusively at the college level.”
Elite 11 Breakdown: “ Alex Manske impressed with his ability to consistently deliver with zip. The Iowa State pledge showed a whippy motion and was natural in throwing from different arm slots. Manske is a flexible athlete who moves with twitch. He had some hot streaks on Tuesday evening and showed why he was coveted by many college programs prior to his commitment to the Cyclones.”
Scout’s Take: “Michigan commit Carter Smith is a plus athlete at the position and continued to show the ability to threaten defenses with his legs in addition to making plays through the air.”
Elite 11 Breakdown: “ Ryan Montgomery showed the ability to play with pace and timing in his pro day. While some other quarterbacks operated with a measured tempo, Montgomery went full speed and was able to perform well despite the higher level of difficulty. The Georgia commit showed no hesitation in letting it rip and threw with confidence. Montgomery showed solid arm strength. While he’s not a top athlete at the position, his footwork and drops were sound. Overall, it was a solid showing for Montgomery.”
On Schobel: “NFL legacy Adam Schobel is a big-framed pocket passer who led his team on a deep playoff run as a junior. He threw for over 2,400 yards and 30 touchdowns as a junior, taking Columbus High to a 12-1 record.”
18. Madden Iamaleava — UCLA commit
School: Long Beach (Calif.) Warren On300 Ranking: No. 227 NATL.
Scouting Summary: ” Madden Iamaleava took over for his brother, Tennessee quarterback and former five-star Nico Iamaleava at Downey (Calif.) Warren and had a fantastic first season as a varsity starter. The younger Iamaleava passed for 3,626 yards and 43 touchdowns against four interceptions, while making some impressive throws on film.”
19. Akili Smith Jr. — Oregon commit
School: San Diego Lincoln On300 Ranking: No. 240 NATL.
Scout’s Take : “Oregon legacy commit Akili Smith Jr. has good tools at the position as a taller passer with a downfield arm and improved functional movement skills. He finished day three of the Elite 11 Finals with 16 of 22 passes on target for four touchdowns and one interception.”
Elite 11 Overall Breakdown: “ K.J. Lacey showed some of the quickest and coordinated feet at the Elite 11 Finals. The Texas commit was able to get good depth on his drops in addition to moving well in scenarios that asked for the quarterbacks to get outside of the pocket. While not an overwhelming rush threat, Lacey backs up the movement skills we saw at the Elite 11 Finals on Friday nights as an improvisational player behind the line of scrimmage.”
