Country Music Star Miranda Lambert Says 'Goodbye to Anything That Isn't Serving Her' Following Brendan McLoughlin Scandal

Country music artist Miranda Lambert shared a cryptic message on TikTok saying "Goodbye," weeks after a scandal involving her husband, retired NYPD police officer Brendan McLoughlin.

Knewz.com has learned that McLoughlin was seen dancing with other women at a bar owned by Lambert in Nashville , Tennessee.

The singer's message on TikTok read, "This is your sign to... say goodbye to anything that isn’t serving you anymore," and was posted with the caption, "Sometimes the grass is actually greener on the other side."

The post was set to her new song 'Damnit Randy,' which was co-written by her husband McLoughlin, along with John Randall and Audra Mae.

The message was shared with two slides, one showing Lambert waving at the camera in front of what seems like a bus, and the other showing a grass trail between two fences.

The apparent "Goodbye" message from the 'Wrangler' hitmaker has left fans guessing about the context, with many theorizing that it may have something to do with McLoughlin's recent scandal.

Her husband, whom she married in 2019, was seen dancing closely with a woman in a denim dress at Lambert's own Nashville bar, the Casa Rosa, later in June.

Videos of the encounter made rounds on social media , following which the mystery woman chose to open up and set the record straight from her end.

She said in an exclusive interview – without divulging her name – that she and her friends recognized McLoughlin that night and went over to talk to him.

"Earlier in the night, we noticed him in the roped-off section at the front of the bar . We recognized him, and we all thought it was cool that he was there, and mentioned hoping for a Miranda appearance... We went back to enjoying our night, drinking and dancing with each other and just having a good time," she said.

"Somehow, later, we were let into the roped-off section where he was. I’m not sure how that was initiated or happened. We were all dancing together and laughing and talking... He was gracious and polite and kind. He did a lot of laughing at us, because we are a silly bunch and were having a good time just dancing and being goofy together."

She emphasized in her account of the events that "there was never anything inappropriate said" between either of them that night and "there was no vibe whatsoever of anything other than friendly, innocent dancing and talking."

Contrary to her description of the "vibe," it was reported that the video footage from that night, which was shared on TikTok on June 24, showed the former NYPD officer dancing "closely" with her and that she was later seen "grinding" on McLoughlin.

She was also seen touching his face at one point, regarding which she clarified that it is a "silly, unconscious habit" of hers and that she "never intended it suggestively."

"[It was] probably more ‘motherly,’ as that’s who I am, but that isn’t something that should reflect badly on him at all," she said in her exclusive interview , and added that it is "sad that he and Miranda are dealing with all of this for no reason."

However, sources close to the famous couple have told In Touch magazine that McLoughlin has likely caught flak from the country music star over the incident, given how she "takes their marriage seriously."

"There’s absolutely no way that Miranda is staying quiet about Brendan’s flirty videos that are circulating on social media... I know she's upset [about] this," the source said.

As of now, Lambert has yet to issue a statement about the matter, except for the cryptic message she shared on TikTok on July 10 — which many have suggested might be related to the recent public drama.
