The People's Choice Country Awards are coming back for a second year, and this time around country music legend Shania Twain has been tapped to host.
“With powerhouse performances, heartfelt tributes to country legends, and surprise moments, last year’s inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards was a huge success,” said Jen Neal , executive vice president of live events and specials at NBCUniversal Entertainment, in a release.

The People's Choice Country Awards is a relatively new expansion of the People's Choice Awards launched in 2023. The 2024 ceremony will be the show's second year.
A tribute and love letter to the country music industry, the ceremony recognizes the biggest and best country music has to offer. Awards are chosen entirely by the fans across various categories. Several honorary awards are also given out during the ceremony.
Last year's awards show included performances by Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Dan + Shay, HARDY, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, Toby Keith and Wynonna Judd .
