Minor was 54 years old at the time of her death, according to MNPD. When she was discovered, Minor had suffered two gunshot wounds to the head. At the time, she was called the Leo Jane Doe due to the necklace she was wearing—a Leo zodiac symbol.

According to MNPD, Minor was last known to have been a manager at the Second Story Café in Nashville in the early 1990s. However, no missing persons report was ever filed for her.
