A new piano bar with Louisiana flair opens of Lower Broadway this week.

TC Restaurant Group, the hospitality company behind a number of downtown country star bars, announced Monday that its newest concept Bayou Keys will open on Thursday. The bar neighbors "Heart Like A Truck" singer Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottoms Up, which made its debut back in May, and both take inspiration from Wilson's home state.

Bell Bottoms Up, Jason Aldean’s Kitchen and Rooftop Bar, Luke's 32 Bridge, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa, Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen, and Tequila Cowboy are all projects from TC Restaurant Group.

Located at 120 Third Ave. S., Bayou Keys is a "dueling piano bar and speakeasy-style lounge" serving up classic sharable bites like charcuterie and hummus plates, plus a full menu of seasonal cocktails, wine and whiskey.

"Thematically tying into the Grammy-winning artist’s Louisiana roots, it aims to deliver good times on the bayou to Lower Broadway," a release from TC Restaurant Group said.

Shimmery, animal-print seating revolves around two golden pianos facing each other in the center of the space. There, in-house pianists will take audience requests and perform a variety of songs across genres for patrons. The stage is also surrounded by decor made to look like the performers are under the cover of cypress trees and twinkle lights.

The location will be open every Thursday through Saturday starting at 6 p.m.

Walk-ins are welcome, but TC Restaurant group "highly encourages" patrons to make reservations before arriving. Reservations can be made online at Bayou Keys's website. Parties larger than four may be seated separately.
