With country music transforming over the years, the genre watched as stars like Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Reba McEntire, and Dolly Parton honored the rich history of the genre. But recently, country music welcomed singers like Beyonce, who celebrated her entrance into the genre with her album, Cowboy Carter. And with Beyonce leading the way, it seems that Post Malone is preparing for the release of his debut country album, F-1 Trillion. With Malone collaborating with Luke Combs on the new song “Guy For That”, the pair recently took over the streets of Nashville for a music video.

Given that Nashville is a hotbed for all things country music, it seemed like a proper setting for any singer in the genre. But getting the permits and permission to take over the streets is an entirely different process. That didn’t stop Combs or Malone as fans filmed them riding on the back of a Porta-Potty truck.

Besides footage of them filming the music video, Combs recently teased their new collaboration, sharing a snippet on Twitter. Already bringing in nearly 4 million views, fans loved the song, writing, “Post Malone is out here crushing it in the country space. Respect!” Another person added, “So excited to see you both this year!!! Maybe next year I can see you both at one show.”

Luke Combs Recalls The Price Of Fame

Although proud of what he accomplished throughout his time on stage, Combs opened up about the struggles that come with fame. Back in August 2023, Combs traveled to Sydney, Australia for his Luke Combs World Tour. Around the same time, his wife, Nicole, prepared for their new baby. With Combs scheduling his concert with enough time to be home for the birth, life had other plans.

Recalling that stressful time, Combs told The Zane Lowe Show, “I probably woke up at around 8:00 a.m. or something like that, Australia time, and I had a text from my wife and it said, ‘I’m so sorry, I really tried to not have the baby while you’re gone. ’And God, dude, it sucked.” He continued, “He wasn’t born yet, but my wife went, she texted me on the way to the hospital and he was two and a half weeks early and I was supposed to be home and I wasn’t. And that was real hard to do.”

While not able to be there, Combs thanked technology for allowing him to emotionally be there. “I got to see him be born, which was awesome.”
