Is Will Levis' biggest 2024 goal for Tennessee Titans a realistic one?

Ahead of what will be a crucial season for his career, Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis has revealed what the team's biggest goal is for the 2024 campaign.

Levis recently sat down with CBS Sports' Bryan DeArdo and made it quite clear that the team is aiming to make a playoff run, and prove a lot of people wrong in the process.

"We want to make a playoff run," he said. "That's the biggest goal for us. Obviously, every team's goal is going to win a Super Bowl... but we're going to take it one game at a time.

"We know we've got a tough schedule, and all we want to do is play within ourselves, learn from each other, love each other, and prove a lot of people wrong. We know that there's a lot of doubters out there that don't think that we're gonna be worth anything this year."

While Levis wouldn't come out and say it, the biggest goal for the Titans in 2024 is the Kentucky product cementing himself as the long-term solution under center in Tennessee. But, yes, the second-biggest goal should be the playoffs, which has a great shot to happen if Levis does his thing.

Normally, aiming for the playoffs in the first year of a rebuild could be considered a lofty goal, but general manager Ran Carthon has sped up the process to make it more of a possibility than it would be for most teams in the same scenario.

While Levis still has something to prove, the Titans beefed up things around him with the additions of JC Latham and Lloyd Cushenberry along the offensive line, and the signings of Tyler Boyd and Calvin Ridley at wide receiver.

On defense, the Titans made major upgrades to their secondary with the signing of Chidobe Awuzie and the trade for L'Jarius Sneed, both of whom join a secondary that already included talented third-year slot cornerback, Roger McCreary.

Now, that's not to say the Titans don't still have some question marks, and in fact they have several, including a few along the offensive line and even more on the defensive side of the ball.

However, there's enough talent in Nashville for the Titans to at least make some noise, and more than many expect them to. Levis' performance will be a huge factor in just how much noise the Titans make, though.
