Eggspectation , the all-day brunch and bar concept, is set to open its first Tennessee location within the next month.

What Now Nashville connected with eggspectation’s Director of Marketing, Bill Geibler to get the latest updates on the progress for this location.

“We do exhaustive research on locations and narrow a list down to areas where restaurants are going to be a good fit,” said Geibler. “Tanger has this brand new beautiful shopping center, and it’s a perfect location for people to stop by to fuel up with brunch before shopping or finishing their day here.”

When you hear the word “egg” you might immediately think of breakfast, but eggspectation has much more to offer than just scrambled, fried and poached eggs. Menu items can include waffles, omelets, fish & chips, wings, tacos, salads, burgers, pizzas and pastas. Some locations have seasonal summer menus, so be sure to check eggspectiation’s website once the restaurant opens to see what is on their menu.

Geibler expects that approximately 90 people will be able to be seated in eggspectation. This will be eggspectations’ first location in Tennessee. Giebler shared that another location will be opening in Knoxville later this year.

“People learn about our brand, and they come back for our lunch and dinner menus,” said Geibler. “We have an all-day bar so people can get brunch in the morning or have a mimosa to go along with some waffles at night.”

What Now Nashville originally projected this restaurant would open in the spring, but the timeline has been pushed back. Eggspectation is aiming to open on August 13.
