Perhaps no NFL team has undergone more changes than the Tennessee Titans this
offseason. Not only does the team have a new coaching staff, but longtime franchise face Derrick Henry will now suit up for the Baltimore Ravens .

While the Titans certainly lost a lot, the team also spent a boatload of money to improve the roster. Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd, Tony Pollard, and Lloyd Cushenberry were huge additions to the offense in free agency. Kenneth Murray, L’Jarius Sneed, Chidobe Awuzie, and Jamal Adams were added to the defense.

This roster undeniably is more talented than it was six months ago. However, there is one glaring question that still remains — how will the right side of the offensive line look?

JC Latham, Peter Skoronski, and Cushenberry will be the left tackle, left guard, and center, respectively. Saahdiq Charles, Daniel Brunskill, and Dillon Radunz are battling for the right guard spot. The right tackle spot seems to be a competition between Nicholas Petit-Frere, Jaelyn Duncan, and Leroy Watson.

Jared Dubin of CBS Sports recently identified each NFL team’s biggest weakness.
Unsurprisingly, Dubin picked the right side of the offensive line as the Titans’ biggest problem area. Regarding that selection, Dubin offered the following:

The Titans clearly want to be a much different kind of offense under Brian Callahan than they were under Mike Vrabel, and his father -- legendary offensive line coach Bill Callahan -- should get the best out of the group up front so that Will Levis can at least operate like something resembling a normal quarterback. But what even is the best that one can get out of Saahdiq Charles and Nicholas Petit-Frere?

Petit-Frere struggled mightily in 2023. The lineman earned a pitiful 35.5 PFF grade and allowed three sacks in 117 snaps. Charles had a rough season as well, earning a 55.5 PFF grade and allowing four sacks in 643 snaps. Both appear to be the favorites for right tackle and right guard entering training camp.

The Titans hope that legendary offensive line coach Bill Callahan can help the young linemen improve in 2024. The team will kick off their regular season slate on September 8 against the Chicago Bears .
