Celebrities, high-powered business executives and politicians will flood Nashville this week ahead of the 2024 Bitcoin conference, which is set to be headlined by an appearance from former President Donald Trump.

Tickets for a fundraising reception event for Trump's presidential campaign are going for $844,600 per person . It's a discounted $60,000 a person to snap a photo with him and attend a reception.

Events for the Bitcoin conference are scheduled to start Thursday. VIP "Whale Pass" tickets for the three-day conference are priced at $21,000 per person and include access to VIP lounges, all-inclusive food and beverage service, an after-party pass and exclusive panels.

The more basic ticket packages are priced at $699 and $3,999. Attendees get a 21% discount for paying with Bitcoin.

Weekend events and related parties are expected to take place at the Westin Hotel rooftop bar, the Twelve Thirty Club, 5th + Broadway's Skydeck, AVA rooftop on Broadway and Oak Steakhouse.

Who is speaking at Nashville's Bitcoin Conference?

Featured speakers throughout the event, besides Trump, will include Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Russell Brand, Edward Snowden, Donald Trump Jr., Vivek Ramaswamy and Sen. Marsha Blackburn, among others.

Donald Trump Jr. is hosting a catered meet and greet event in collaboration with the Trump campaign, where he will be joined by political commentators Candace Owens and Camryn Kinsey. The event is at the L27 rooftop lounge at the Westin hotel, and tickets cost $3,000 per person or $5,000 per couple.

Trump's campaign is also selling tickets for a "VIP reception" following his keynote speech at the conference, as first reported by Bloomberg Thursday. For $844,600, donors can attend the reception, take a photo with Trump and participate in an exclusive roundtable. A ticket just for the photo op and reception costs $60,000 per person or $100,000 per couple, according to the Trump 47 Committee .

Trump's appearance comes on the heels of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wis. where delegates formally elected him as the Republican presidential nominee. His trip to Nashville comes just two weeks after an attempted assassination at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Recent events have prompted additional security plans for the Bitcoin conference. At the RNC, 4,000 police officers from several states participated in a coordinated security plan , including a secure perimeter and checkpoints around the event venues.

Businesses outside of the RNC's secure perimeter reported a dearth of sales activity during the convention as delegates preferred to stay within the perimeter and other Milwaukeeans avoided downtown altogether.

The economic impact of the Bitcoin conference, in the form of direct visitor spending and hotel occupancy, is yet unknown.
