The Tennessee Titans have provided a much-needed breath of fresh air for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins since he signed a two-year contract worth $26 million last offseason. Entering his second season in Nashville, Hopkins is poised to make a major impact in a new offensive system and potentially earn a contract extension this fall.

When Hopkins signed with Tennessee, there were murmurs around the league about just how much he had left in his tank. D-Hop quickly put those concerns to bed with a 2023 campaign in which he totaled 75 receptions for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns, with little consistency coming from the quarterback position .

After an impressive roster overhaul and a new coaching staff in place, Hopkins says that he's as happy as he's ever been ahead of the 2024 season.

"I take it day by day," Hopkins said. "I love Tennessee, I love what Miss Amy is doing. So you know, I think this is the happiest I've been in any organization, so just let that speak for itself."

Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk has done well to make Tennessee an attractive destination for high-profile free agents even after a couple of mediocre seasons. Hopkins credits his happiness to how the Titans' beloved owner operates.

"How Miss Amy runs things. It's a great place to be," Hopkins elaborated. "She's putting pieces together to try to win, and it's exciting."

General manager Ran Carthon has assembled one of, if not the, best free agency classes in franchise history this offseason. He, along with the Callahan regime, are putting the Titans in position to contend for a playoff spot this season.

Although Hopkins hasn't shown any signs of slowing down, he did turn 32 years old this offseason. While the Titans still have plenty of work to do before they are to be considered Super Bowl contenders, it's clear that Hopkins appreciates the team's aggressive approach to returning to winning form sooner rather than later.
