Chef Robbie Wilson and his wife Emily Perry-Wilson plan to open Lion’s Share in spring 2025, according to the Nashville Business Journal . The restaurant is set to take over 4410 Murphy Rd, which was home to McCabe Pub until Jan. 15. Family-owned McCabe Pub had occupied the space for 41 years before it closed its doors earlier this year.

Perry-Wilson told the Nashville Business Journal that they hope to make Lion’s Share both a popular neighborhood spot and a destination restaurant. The menu is expected to mainly have meals cooked over a hearth, as well as modern takes on classic cocktails and an extensive wine collection.

This is not Wilson’s first time getting involved in the Nashville food scene. After traveling around learning various cooking techniques, Wilson landed in Nashville and helped open several restaurants in the area.

However, he headed west to California in 2012, opening BIRD DOG in Palo Alto in 2015 alongside his wife. The fine dining restaurant’s menu features several seafood entrees alongside several other Wilson-inspired dishes. They also launched Le Fantastique in San Francisco.

There is no set opening date for Lion’s Share as of yet.

What Now Nashville has reached out to the owners for more information about the concept and timeline for Lion’s Share but has yet to receive a response. Stay tuned for updates on this location’s opening.
