You never know who you will see in Nashville.
But the odds of seeing someone famous skyrocket tremendously if you are on Broadway after a major music industry event and in a celebrity-owned bar. Last night, some of the biggest names in country music gathered at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for the American Icon: Toby Keith tribute concert. With performances from Eric Church, Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson, Jamey Johnson and more, the night honored the life and legacy of Toby Keith while also supporting those in need with proceeds from ticket sales.
While one can assume that most were ready to hit the hay after a wild Monday night concert, a few of the stars took advantage of the night out in Nashville and hit Broadway after the show. Eric Church was one of the stars who took to the town afterward…well, he stopped by his bar. Can you blame him? He wants to make sure the business is running smoothly.
But he isn’t all work and no play. Church made a surprise appearance at Chiefs on Broadway, and it would only make sense for him to hop on stage. Eric Chruch has made surprise appearances in the past at his bar, so it’s nice to see this becoming a common theme for The Chief when he stops in.
Church hopped on stage and performed one of his biggest hits with the band, “Springsteen.”
The audience is stunned to see the man behind the hit song on stage, with many people pulling out their phones to capture the legendary Monday pop-up performance. The crowd is singing every word with Church, and he seems to be letting loose on stage.
This is your sign to start bar hopping when there are tribute events around Broadway…there were quite a few of these artist sightings after the Toby Keith tribute concluded last night.
Everyone embraced the Keith spirit and enjoyed a few red Solo cup cocktails before calling it a night.
