NFL star Jeffery Simmons unloads on host Buck Reising live on air in foul-mouthed rant over ‘talking on social media’

TENNESSEE Titans star Jeffery Simmons angrily hit out at a talkshow radio host in unsavoury scenes ahead of the new NFL season.

Titans defensive end Simmons got into a heated on-air argument with Buck Reising, who hosts his own show on 104.5 in Nashville.

The host could barely get a word in, as the player ranted his disappointment towards him.

Reising was actually supposed to be speaking with Roger McCreary, Tennessee’s third-year cornerback.

But the start of their interview was delayed by Simmons, who was clearly furious.

Simmons has obviously taken issue with things Reising has said about him on social media.

He called the host a “p****” and repeated his wish that Reising would “Stop talking on social media — talk to me.”

Reising then offered Simmons a chair to sit down and talk, but that suggestion wasn’t taken up by the player.

“Jeff, we tried to talk with you last week,” Reising said before then moving things on.

“I’m being rude to Roger. We’ll deal with you later.”

The host was probably aware that this wouldn’t have been the best listening experience for fans.

Reising later spoke in depth about the issue, saying he doesn’t believe it was that big a deal.

“When we have opinions on stuff, they should be able to address it with us,” Reising said.

“There’s a lack of accountability, just generally, with people who talk in front of microphones and talk on Twitter and things like that.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a discourse. Now. Does it have to look like that? Ideally no.

“But I mean, that’s not a big deal. I don’t think it’s as big a deal as everybody seemed to make it.”

It’s not exactly clear what Simmons was objecting to, but it may well have been a posting from Reising on X, the site formerly known as Twitter, earlier on Tuesday.
