Woman in Wheelchair Fatally Struck While Crossing Lebanon Pike in Hermitage
A tragic incident unfolded in Hermitage as a woman in a wheelchair was struck and killed while trying to navigate across Lebanon Pike on Thursday evening. Police report that the 56-year-old woman was crossing outside of a crosswalk when she was hit by an eastbound Subaru Outback near Tyler Drive at approximately 7:45 p.m.; she later succumbed to her injuries at TriStar Skyline Medical Center, according to WSMV.
