NOW: There will be sun with thin clouds today with a rogue shower possible near Long Island Sound by 2 p.m. this afternoon. It's not promised, and most people will stay dry, but the chance is present. It will stay relatively nice into tonight with lows in the lower 70s. NEW: Tomorrow will be a mostly sunny day with fewer thin clouds, and a pop-up shower is possible near 2 p.m. again. The morning conditions may be damp for the east end and the north fork. There could be a light shower in Nassau County, although the chance for rain is very slim, it should be dry throughout most of the day. If it does rain, it will last 30-40 minutes at most. NEXT: Monday looks great with a mostly sunny sky and highs in the mid-80s. Rain is likely in the afternoon on Tuesday, Wednesday and even on Thursday as moisture and clouds move across the area.
