UPDATED: 2 Dead After Auto Crashes into Home and Bursts into Flames
UPDATED – 10:50am – A crash just before 11:30 on Gills Neck Road near Lewes has left two people dead. Delaware State Police say the driver of a BMW was traveling at an apparent high rate of speed, went off the roadway in a curve and struck a wall, tree and metal fence and caught fire. The fire spread to a residence causing extensive damage. No one in the home was injured. The driver of the BMW and a passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is on-going.

Between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday, officers responded to three separate incidents throughout Milford, where subjects were reporting that they had been shot with a hard object (pellet) from a passing silver sedan. The victims only reported minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
