    Three Men Injured in Humboldt Park Shooting

    Police investigate shooting on North Lawndale Avenue in Chicago

    CHICAGO – A shooting in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood left three men injured on Saturday evening.

    According to the Chicago Police Department, the incident occurred just before 5:30 p.m. in the 700 block of North Lawndale Avenue. Three men, aged 34, 35, and 37, were standing near the sidewalk when an unidentified vehicle approached. At least one individual inside the vehicle opened fire, striking all three men.

    Authorities reported that a 34-year-old man was shot in the elbow and transported to Stroger Hospital. The 35-year-old victim suffered a leg wound and was also taken to Stroger Hospital. The third victim, aged 37, was shot in the leg and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital. All three were initially reported to be in good condition.

    No suspects have been apprehended, and Area Four detectives are continuing the investigation.
