Halifax, Madison Heights and Amherst left town last week as winners of the 2024 Virginia State DYB Tournament held July 5-10 at at the Appomattox County Community Park. Halifax won the Ozone Division 1 (ages 11-12) trophy with an 11-0 victory over Appomattox. Madison Heights captured the AAA Minors Division I (ages 9-10) trophy with an 11-5 win over Goochland. Amherst won Ozone Division II (ages 11-12) with an 11-1 win over Clarksville.
