Natick is gearing up to welcome Bosse , a state-of-the-art, 21-court pickleball venue accompanied by four distinct dining options, as reported by Boston Magazine . The venue is set to open in fall 2024 at 1245 Worcester St , located in the Natick Mall . Leading this ambitious project is former tennis pro D.J. Bosse , proprietor of Bosse Sports in Hyde Park. Collaborating with him is Chef Chris Coombs , celebrated for upscale eateries throughout Greater Boston, including Dbar, Deuxave, and Boston Chops.

Given the longstanding friendship between the Coombs family and Bosse, this collaboration feels like a natural fit, blending Bosse’s athletic background with Coombs’ passion for food and fitness. Situated in the former Neiman Marcus space, Coombs described the venue to Boston Magazine as “architecturally stunning.”

As Coombs finalizes culinary plans, he envisions a diverse gastronomic experience within the Bosse venue, featuring four individual restaurants. Each establishment will boast its own unique menu: a rustic Italian eatery; an all-day café offering coffee, smoothies, and pastries; a bespoke “courtside culinary experience”; and a sports bar and lounge serving New American cuisine. Additionally, the venue will include “various themed bars for entertainment, socializing, and refueling.”

Notably, this marks Coombs’ first venture beyond Boston, and he eagerly anticipates the opportunity to craft fresh dining destinations for all to savor and enjoy. The fusion of athletic energy and culinary expertise promises to make Bosse a vibrant and memorable destination for both sports enthusiasts and food connoisseurs alike.
