Natrona County Sheriff’s Office searching for reentry escapee
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Casper Reentry escapee, 42 year old, Joseph Herrera. Herrera is described as a 42-year-old Latino male, approximately 6’0 tall and 225 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair. Herrera was a part of the Casper Re-entry Center (CRC) work-release program. He signed out of CRC for work on the morning of August 5th, he did not show up to work and failed to return back to CRC. Herrera was originally sentenced out of Natrona County for conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine.
Casper Mountain Projects Update
The Natrona County Parks Department has given an update on the Casper Mountain construction projects going on this summer. The Casper Mountain Trails Center foundation has been poured. Erection of the building has begun. The expanded parking lot is currently under construction and sidewalks and handicap parking are expected to be installed this month, as well.
