Heat advisory to kick in as temps near 100 degrees in Casper area this week
CASPER, Wyo. — Central Wyoming will sizzle for the remainder of this week as high temperatures potentially break the 100-degree mark by Sunday. According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, Natrona County and much of Johnson County will be under a heat advisory from noon Thursday through Sunday night. Temperatures in some areas could exceed 100 degrees on multiple days.
Extreme Heat Hits Wyoming
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Extreme heat is coming for Wyoming and it wants to stick around for a while. Some areas are already feeling it with upper 90s and triple digits tomorrow. Mainly areas in Natrona and Johnson counties including Riverton and Casper are the ones seeing the hottest temperatures which is why they currently have a heat advisory that lasts until Sunday. That will change soon with southeast Wyoming seeing a harsh blast of heat soon.
