At 9:55 am, A 1989 Chevrolet Silverado was heading southbound on Route 501 when it was rear-ended by a 2007 Ford Explorer, also heading southbound. ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. – Virginia State Police is investigating a motorcycle crash that occurred around 1 p.m. on Tuesday on Blue Ridge Parkway that resulted in one dead.
