City installs new splash pad
Cozumel Park has a brand-new splash pad, and the park reopened recently after a couple of days while Community Services replaced the old equipment. Key West City Commissioner District III Commissioner-elect Donie Lee joined interim City Manager Todd Stoughton, Community Services Director Marcus Davila and Deputy Director Mike Turner for the inaugural splashing as the park reopened. The children of Davila and Turner were the first to test the waters. The park is located on 19th Terrace in New Town, and Cozumel Park is a neighborhood playground for the local kids in the area. There is also an area for picnics and family gatherings.

Marc E. Csete, a pulmonologist and critical care physician, has joined Lower Keys Medical Center and Keys Medical Group. A graduate of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Csete completed his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center and a fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. Csete is board certified in pulmonology, critical care medicine and internal medicine. He has been practicing in South Florida for more than 30 years.
