Washington School Board Adds Veteran Officers as School Resource Officers
The Washington School Board has added two veteran police officers as school resource officers. At Thursday’s meeting, the board hired Todd Church and Mark Hudson as school resource officers at the elementary school. Church retired from the Washington Police Department as Chief of Police. Hudson is also a retired officer and has volunteered in the Washington system for several years. WPD officer Colin Cornelius will continue as the SRO at the WHS-WJHS complex.

At the age of nine, James and his family moved to Salem, where his father opened the Apple Drug Store. It was in this store that James's lifelong career as a pharmacist began.
