wow...accident reconstruction...perp not must be a member of the club (police, fire folks and EMTs) and they actually want the evidence to prosecute appropriately. My accident in which a fire guy was hot rodding around on a Sunday morning involved Life Star and the jaws of life but didn't involve accident reconstruction, securing the black box or even looking at the speedometer face to see where the needle left a splotch of paint on the face of the speedometer. Extraordinary measures to not determine the speed of the asshat's car because they didn't want the evidence to charge appropriately.
