Man arrested for squatting in Iona home
LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Lee County deputies arrested a man for squatting in and burglarizing an Iona home, claiming ownership of a stolen car on Thursday. On Thursday, Oct. 26, at around 4:56 p.m., a Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) detective responded to a burglary and stolen vehicle at 13611 China Berry Way in the gated community Catalpa Cove.
Five arrested amid Cape Coral drug investigation
CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A crash involving a Cape Coral Police Department cruiser on Thursday evening is part of a larger drug enforcement operation. The police cruiser somehow crashed into a blue Lamborghini SUV on El Dorado Parkway East near Malibu Court. The side of the suspect’s SUV was smashed in while the front of the police cruiser was damaged and the airbags were deployed.

Man wanted for attempted murder caught in Immokalee
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A man who was on the run and facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, was arrested in Immokalee Thursday night. According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), 20-year-old Ryan Guerrero had multiple warrants out of Hendry and Lee counties. Guerrero was wanted for attempted murder, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and shooting a deadly missile into a dwelling.
