Italian Village bar closing after 11 years as new owners take over and make changes

COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — An Italian Village bar that’s been open for over a decade will soon be closing its doors as new owners take over the space.

Little Rock Bar, at 944 N. Fourth St., will have its last day of business on Sunday, Aug. 18, owner Quinn Fallon said on social media. Fallon said it was time for him to step out from behind the bar while expressing his gratitude for Little Rock in the post.

“I will always cherish the great times at Little Rock, where the lines between friends, family, patrons and staff have blurred so beautifully,” Fallon said. “I’ve made so many lifelong friends here that it’s impossible to name them all.”

The drink menu at Little Rock featured cocktails, wine and beer. Food was also offered at the bar, including pizza, subs and appetizers like egg rolls, pretzel bites and “evil bread.”

Fallon confirmed the bar was purchased by new owners, saying he would remain as landlord. Changes are expected to come with the new ownership. Fallon teased “tweaks and updates” but said it’ll stay “the neighborhood bar you’ve come to know and love.”

The new owners will make their announcement for what’s to come on their own, Fallon said, but he confirmed they hope to keep several of Little Rock’s staff onboard.
