GAHANNA, Ohio ( WCMH ) – A central Ohio bowling alley has been sold to an Arizona-based real estate company for $3.8 million.

Gahanna Lanes, located at 215 W. Johnstown Rd., was acquired by Store Capital. The real estate investment trust bought the 1.7-acre property for $3.8 million on July 17, according to the Franklin County Auditor’s Office. The building features 26 bowling lanes, an arcade with 25 games, a lounge and a snack bar.

The bowling alley’s previous owner, Bowl for Fun, Inc., acquired the property for $900,000 in 2015. Store Capital now owns 24 properties in Franklin County, according to the auditor.

The company acquires and manages single-tenant operational real estate properties. In total, it has 3,230 properties in 49 states, according to the company’s website. Its properties are valued at $15 billion.

Service, retail and manufacturing industries, as well as restaurants, early childhood education institutions, automotive repair services and health clubs represent a large portion of the real estate company’s portfolio.
