COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — New details have emerged about the serious allegations of a Columbus restaurant owner.

Robert “Bobby” George, the owner of Townhall and Mandrake in the Short North, was arrested Tuesday on nine felony counts, including rape and attempted murder. NBC4 obtained the police report detailing the allegations against George, 43, from the Cleveland police Friday.

The report details a woman’s accusations of domestic violence by George in 2023 and 2024. Among the series of allegations are instances where the victim said George would pull her hair and kick her to stop from leaving.

The victim also accused George of shoving a towel in her mouth when she tried to scream, and even one occasion where she alleges he held a firearm to her stomach, told her it was loaded and forced her back into the apartment. At one point, the victim said she was hospitalized after an alleged assault by George.

She said she has proof of these assaults. The victim accused George of putting trackers on her phone and in her car and said she has seen photos of her parents’ home on his phone.

George’s lawyer said his client is innocent and denies all allegations. He also said George did not get to speak with detectives before he was charged.

George turned himself in Tuesday, a few days after the warrant for his arrest was issued Aug. 9. Also on Tuesday, he had an arraignment hearing where a judge gave him a $200,000 bond. He posted bond shortly after.
