    Central Ohio Weather and Radar

A disturbance over the central Great Lakes will keep the weather unsettled this weekend, with scattered showers and storms developing during the afternoon and evening hours.

Temperatures reached 90 degrees in a very humid air mass, conducive to localized downpours and gusty winds in parts of central Ohio Saturday. Hail came down in some of the tallest storms in Licking County, and several inches of rain in repeated cells caused minor flooding in parts of Coshocton County.

Showers will dissipate tonight, leaving moisture for some patchy fog later. Morning readings will dip to the mid-60s.

The lumbering storm system will hover over northern Michigan for another day on Sunday, so showers and isolated storms are likely again but more widely scattered. Readings will be slightly cooler due to cloud cover.

A northerly flow will develop on the western side of the upper-level storm system early next week, as high pressure builds down from the northwest, ushering in noticeably cooler and drier air. Temperatures will only reach the 70s through midweek, and mornings will be pleasantly cool (50s).
