    FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Today bumps up the mercury across central Ohio. Highs will be in the mid 90s. The humidity will also increase ever so slightly. Skies will be partly cloudy. Winds will stay fairly light through much of the day.

It will stay muggy overnight under partly cloudy skies. Lows will be in the low 70s across the area. Wind speeds will be very light in the 1-3 mph range.

The warming trend that central Ohio felt over the weekend will continue for the next several days. Air temperatures today through Wednesday will be within 3 degrees from their daytime high records.

The extra humidity will make it feel close to the low 100s. Starting tomorrow a heat advisory will go into effect for most of central Ohio.

While this hot week goes on, we are tracking a chance in rain chances. A cold front will move through during the middle of the week that will bring at least a marginal risk for severe weather for our area. From Wednesday through Saturday there will be chances for scattered storms bringing the much needed rain.
