UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio ( WCMH ) — A hailstorm briefly accompanied rain moving through central Ohio, and left behind sizable chunks on a swath of Upper Arlington.

Sarah McCaig shared photos of hail she found outside in the Columbus suburb. She placed a quarter next to the balls of ice for reference on their size.

Walking down her driveway, McCaig saw more hail covering her yard. A rainstorm passed hard and swift northeast through Columbus around 4 p.m. While those storm clouds lingered in Westerville, another wave of rain may be on the way from the southwest as of 5 p.m.
