    Central Ohio Weather and Radar

Fall is officially a couple of weeks away, but this weekend was a nice preview, with crisp mornings in the 40s (30s in the colder spots).

The milky haze Sunday was attributed to a plume of wildfire smoke from the Pacific Northwest, where the weather is hot and dry.

High pressure building in from the west will provide lots of sunshine to start the week, with another midweek warm-up, as summerlike weather returns in a southerly flow. High temperatures will flirt with 90 degrees Wednesday and Thursday.

Rain chances are nil until possibly late next weekend, when a surge of tropical moisture associated with the remnants of a likely tropical cyclone (to be named Francine), forming in the western Gulf, lifts northward toward the Ohio River. Increasing clouds will lower temperatures back to the mid-80s.
