(NBC) — Someone will win a million dollars Monday on the finale of NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior.”

It’s only happened three times in 15 seasons, but the ninja who did it last season is in contention to do it again.

Vance Walker beat the clock and his rivals on the 75-foot rope climb last season to win the “American Ninja Warrior” million-dollar prize.

Monday, he can earn back-to-back wins if he can make it past stage three on the finale course.

“This season’s stage three is a lot harder than last season’s,” said Walker.

Walker and rivals Caleb Bergstrom and Noah Meunier are among the ninjas facing a new, grip and flip obstacle called pizza party.

“We come out here to train to beat obstacles and obstacles are designed to beat us,” said Bergstrom.

“The pizza was going to be extra challenging because it was a new technique that I’d never tried before,” said Meunier.

Kai Beckstrand’s already survived stage three and any other ninja who does faces that long rope climb on stage four.

The fastest to do it in under 30 seconds will win the million-dollar prize.

And we already know someone will. If it is Walker again his fame will only grow.

“Even in other countries, like in Europe, it doesn’t even air there, I’ve been recognized, which is absolutely insane,” said Walker.

Winning a second million would be pretty crazy too.

Watch “American Ninja Warrior” Monday at 8 p.m. on NBC4.
