(NBC) — The finals of “America’s Got Talent” are next Tuesday, four golden buzzer acts have already qualified, but six more spots are on the line Wednesday in the live semifinals.

The pursuit of dreams could very well be the common theme for all the acts this summer on “AGT.”

“We absolutely love doing this, the craziness rollercoaster that it is,” said Ciaran McMeeken of musical trio Ashes & Arrows.

The past four weeks of live shows have seen America’s vote send 12 acts into Wednesday’s semifinals.

“That stage is home,” said comedian Learnmore Jonasi. “I was at home out there. That’s where I belong.”

But, only six semifinalists will get the votes they need to move on to next week’s finale.

“Everything gets upped, everything goes to a whole ‘nother level right now,” said host Terry Crews.

And as the judges often say, that means stepping the performances up a notch.

“We have some really amazing stories that we would love to tell,” said Brian Geck of drone show team Sky Elements.

And for the acts who performed just last week, it is a quick change.

“It’s really tough,” said quick change artist Solange about being able to put something new together to wow America again. “We can do it with the passion.”

Showcasing that passion and talent could lead to the “AGT” million-dollar prize.

What happens Wednesday will help America decide.

“America’s Got Talent” airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. on NBC4, followed by a special live edition of “Late Night with Seth Meyers”, featuring an hour-long “A Closer Look” focused on Tuesday’s presidential debate.
