Columbus police identify woman, infant in suspected murder-suicide

COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) – Columbus police have identified two victims, including an infant, who were killed as part of a suspected murder-suicide that occurred Tuesday night in East Columbus.

According to an updated CPD release, 20-year-old Isabella Addington was killed, along with her four-month-old infant, Imani Robinson, as a result of a suspected murder-suicide in which three people died late Tuesday night.

At approximately 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, Columbus police responded to reports of shots fired. The person who called police said they believed a man shot his girlfriend in the home and were notified an infant could be inside.

Officers arrived to the 2900 block of East 12 ^th Avenue and found three people dead from gunshot wounds.

One man, later identified as 21-year-old Jaden Robinson, Addington and their infant child Imani, were all pronounced dead at the scene. Homicide detectives are treating the incident as a murder suicide.

An investigation has led police to believe that Robinson shot the victims before killing himself, making it the second suspected murder suicide in a 24-hour-period and fourth over the past three weeks in the Columbus area.
