High pressure over the Northeast will continue draw warm air northward in a southerly flow.
Temperatures will rise to the upper 80s, some 10 degrees above normal, through the weekend. The early mornings will be mild, with temperatures in the low to mid-60s.

Skies will be mainly sunny, as high-level moisture that streamed northward from the remnants of Francine fades off to the south. Some haze from the Western wildfires could work in from the northeast in the flow around high pressure the next few days.

Afternoon temperatures will cool down a few degrees early next week into the mid-80s, but remain well above normal for mid-September.

A point of interest will be a tropical disturbance near the Carolina coast this weekend that will turn inland early in the week, spreading clouds in from the east, along with a chance for showers to reach eastern Ohio.
