    Central Ohio Weather and Radar

High pressure over the Northeast continues to draw very warm air northward into the region. Tonight will be slightly cooler due to drier air, with early morning readings in the mid- to upper 50s.

Monday will be sunny and warm, with a light haze, although afternoon temperatures will cool down a few degrees, but remain above normal for mid-September.

A tropical rainstorm developing near the Carolina coast will turn inland Monday night, spreading clouds in the from the southeast. Temperatures on Tuesday will be slightly cooler with increasing clouds, and a few showers will reach the southeastern counties.

The low-pressure area will drift northward toward the upper Ohio Valley, sparking scattered showers Tuesday evening into early Wednesday, with spotty relief from the dry weather.

Clouds will linger for a few days even as the system dissipates. Sunshine and unseasonably warm weather returns next weekend.
