GROVE CITY, Ohio ( WCMH ) — Grove City High School announced it has dismissed its students early on Tuesday morning.

The school announced that students were released beginning at 9:50 a.m. because of a power outage in the building. The district’s electricians determined that power will not be restored for a significant amount of time and will disrupt daily operations.

Arrangements have been made for bus riders to leave early while the school district said carpoolers, student drivers, and walkers will be released in stages. An update on the building’s power status is expected to be delivered to families later Tuesday.
