    One hospitalized after South Linden shooting

    COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — One person is hospitalized Thursday night after a shooting in South Linden.

    According to a Columbus police dispatcher, the shooting was reported on the 1100 block of East 12th Avenue at approximately 9:25 p.m. An adult victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

    Due to the severity of the victim’s injury, the Homicide Unit is also investigating the shooting thought it remains unknown what led to the incident.

    CPD is asking that anyone with information regarding the shooting to call Columbus Police Homicide Unit at (614) 645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at (614) 461-TIPS (8477).
