REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio ( WCMH ) — A restaurant chain has reopened its Reynoldsburg storefront two days after a vehicle crashed through its doors , leaving multiple people hurt.

O’Charley’s confirmed its location at 2272 Baltimore-Reynoldsburg Rd. was back open with normal hours as of Tuesday. A Violet Township fire battalion chief previously told NBC4 that the building didn’t suffer any structural damage because only glass doors were struck.

“Thanks to the hard work of O’Charley’s team members and others, this location is ready to once-again serve delicious food in a great atmosphere to its loyal guests,” a spokesperson for O’Charley’s wrote to NBC4.

The Reynoldsburg O’Charley’s briefly closed its doors after an SUV rammed through them around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The car hit the building’s to-go portal, and Reynoldsburg police said 13 people were injured.

Witnesses said customers were seated at tables directly on the other side of where the car went into the building. Police did not say what led to the crash, but emergency crews had removed the car from the building within an hour of the incident.

The reopened restaurant is one of two left in central Ohio, as O’Charley’s abruptly closed four locations in August 2023, followed by an additional two shutdowns in November. In at least two cases, the closures gave way to opportunity. A national steakhouse bought one of the shops for $2.6 million, and a Brazilian steakhouse took over another to establish its first Ohio spot.
