COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — Matt the Miller’s Tavern, a casual eatery known for its pub fare and happy hour, has rebranded its central Ohio restaurant after closing another location earlier this year .

The tavern at 6725 Avery-Muirfield Drive has been renamed “MTM Tavern Steakhouse,” the restaurant announced on social media. Now, the Dublin eatery is offering a fresh menu with four new steak options, including a 10-ounce wagyu sirloin, a ribeye, a New York strip and a twin 8-ounce filets.

The rebranding comes after the chain’s owner CLB Restaurants closed the tavern’s Polaris Fashion Place location in February . The Dublin eatery marked the brand’s debut when it opened in 2008, followed by the Polaris restaurant in 2014. Both were inspired by the original Matt the Miller’s in Kilkenny, Ireland, building on favorites like fish and Chips and Bavarian pretzel bites.

Matt the Miller’s is one of two concepts operated by CLB along with Tucci’s, an upscale steak and seafood restaurant with a location in Dublin and Carmel, Indiana. The restaurant group invested $2.5 million into an expansion at the Dublin Tucci’s that opened earlier this year , transforming the eatery’s patio into a four-season dining room.

Restaurateur Craig Barnum founded CLB in 2011 after he split off from a previous restaurant group with partners Mike Tibbetts and Jack Eggspuehler. Tibbetts and Eggspuehler retained ownership of Oscar’s Restaurant and Bar in Dublin which closed in January after more than 30 years of business .

I would personally like to see some high quality vegan restaurants open in Dublin. We need to reduce our carbon footprint by using our farmland to grow vegetables for people to consume, not animals to be slaughtered.
