COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — Central Ohio was treated to some much-needed rain showers over the last several days. By the time Football Friday Nite rolls around, we are looking at additional rain chances increasing across the area.

Temperatures throughout Friday night football games are expected to stay in the low 70s and finish in the upper 60s with scattered showers on and off throughout the evening

For those traveling to East Lansing, Michigan, on Saturday for the Buckeyes’ Big Ten opener, expect drier conditions up there temperatures will be in the mid 60s with mostly cloudy skies. They will see a sprinkler too, but we’re more likely to see scattered rain showers in central Ohio thanks to the remnants of hurricane Helene.

Both Cleveland and Cincinnati are on the road for the NFL, so any watch parties would be best done inside as more scattered rain. Chances are expected by the Sunday.
