COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — A local woman wants to make sure everyone can join in on the festivities this Halloween.

Christina Stephens partnered with four businesses to host a costume and accessory drive. You can check your closet or attic for any old costumes and drop them off at two coffee shops in Hilliard — Biggby Coffee on Hilliard Rome Road and Coffee Connections.

There are also two drop boxes in Grove City, at Butterfly Boutique and Vitality Athletic Center. Stephens said she got the idea for a drive after she took her two kids shopping for a costume this year.

“Once we go home I looked in our closet and saw we had four costumes,” Stephens said. “I thought, ‘What are we doing with these? They’re clearly too small for my kids now. Let’s put them somewhere someone would really love these.'”

These businesses are collecting costumes until Oct. 18. Then, the giveaways are on Oct. 19 at Grove City Business Center and on Oct. 20 at Coffee Connections. You can take a costume home for free or swap it out with an old one.
