    Columbus police ID suspect in I-70 shooting

    COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — Columbus police have issued an arrest warrant for a man they said is wanted in connection with a shooting on Interstate 70 that left one person hospitalized and closed the roadway for several hours.

    Police are searching for Donte Jayon Reynolds, 31, in connection with Sunday’s incident.

    Officers responded to the scene of a reported crash Sunday at approximately 12:13 p.m. on I-70 between Hamilton Road and Courtright Road. At the scene, they found one victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

    The victim was hospitalized in critical condition. There is no update on their condition as of Tuesday.

    The westbound lanes of I-70 were closed for approximately three hours as police investigated the incident.
